Merci, Grazie, Danke, Arigatou gozaimasu and Thank You!

I was genuinely touched by the responses to the closure of my little spot on the internet. Goregirl’s Dungeon really was a labor of love for me. Your kind words have convinced me to leave my archives live. I will be doing some writing for other sites and will use the dungeon as a calendar of sorts to announce those projects. Thank you so much for your wicked support!

  1. I don’t want to think of you as going away… There isn’t another blog quite like yours…Wishing you all the best in the world to discover….I won’t say farewell, just talk to you later Goregirl my friend

You know I will be around…and I will always stop by The Last Drive In. I’ve already contributed something to another website! Cheers mon ami :D

    Great news indeed! :)

Danke Herr Conrad! I just contributed a list to another site which I will be posting about shortly. :)

  3. Hoo-ray! I was HOPING you’d keep the site up for archival purposes because your reviews and such are VERY educational for anyone who wants to get in deep into the genre. Excellent.

I’m glad you’re leaving the archives up as I link to some of your posts from my site and – if I do more film stuff – may want to link to more! Also, I’ll be glad to hear about your other projects.

    • goregirl Says:

Grazie Eric! I had planned on moving some stuff over to tumblr but tumblr is really about images not words, so here my writing shall stay.

  5. I’m glad to see we’ll have another way of keeping tabs on your awesome writing and nefarious actions! ;)

I’m also glad that you’re archives are staying up since your opinion on films is trusted and always welcome!

  6. You’re making the right decision by leaving the site up. Just popped back in after some time away and was sad to see the post about the Dungeon closing its doors. Your taste always (well, usually) mirrored mine, and you found some wonderful obscurities I didn’t know about. This post makes me feel much better. If you ever want to do some guest posting we’re always looking for help at 366!

    • goregirl Says:

I have always been, and remain a fan of 366, I would definitely be interested in writing the occasional piece for you if you’d have me! I’ll contact you by email early June for a chat.
